Abstract |
The wound healing is the important issue in health-care and medical fields. The serious injures on skin including burn, acute and chronic wound are difficult repaired in the group of old people, malnutrition and diabetic patients. That patients with serious wound receive the big life affect in inconvenient action, infection risk and pain feeling. Therefore, developing a high efficient therapeutic agent is necessary to repair those unrecoverable wounds. CO2 administration has been known to improve microcirculation and local oxygen supply that are beneficial to wound healing. However, the previous strategies of CO2 administration showed the invasive injection process and in-sufficed CO2 supply causing the poor efficacy in wound healing. Here, the hollow CuS nanosphere was prepared as the carrier to carry the bicarbonates, which is CO2 donor, via the iron ion-ligand coordination linking. Taking by the near-infrared light absorption feature of CuS nanosphere, the suitable temperature yielding CO2 can be achieved after near-infrared lamp irradiation. The nanodrug was dropped on the incisional wound, and then the wound was irradiated by near-infrared lamp for 5 min to generate CO2. After this single-treatment, the days of wound healing was greatly reduced to 15 days from 21 days. |
