Rapid antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) platform

Abstract

Antimicrobial resistance is a clinical challenge to infectious disease treatment. Early effective antibiotics treatment can largely reduce the mortality rate of acute infectious diseases. Our AST platform integrated microfluidic image analysis algorithm and microfluidic chips. Instead of one culture day, we provide 2~4 hr AST solutions to help sepsis patient to obtain effective treatment at an early stage for the better use of antibiotics.
