The NCKU-ICID Ph.D. Scholarship awards outstanding international students from SATU Presidents’ Forum members undertaking the doctoral studies in Institute of Creative Industry Design (ICID) at NCKU for Fall Semester 2013. 

SATU International Secretariat offers scholarship to outstanding international students from SATU Presidents’ Forum member schools. This year, one student from Chulalongkorn University is awarded a monthly stipend of NTD$30,000 (approximately 1,000 USD) for the 2013/2014 Academic Year of the PhD program in NCKU ICID - Institute of Creative Industries Design (Brand & Marketing Planning). 

Available fields of Study in ICID include Brand & Marketing Planning Group, Media & Interaction Design Group, and Industry & Service Innovation Group. The programs in ICID have attracted and brought many young talents for economy development as was seen by the Taiwanese government. For many years, SATU has aimed to create or integrate a program for our member universities who will then have options of either following the network upon the SATU platform or see this program as being a new module to be adopted in their home institutes. We hope the scholarship this year is an initiation of such implementations.
