Thanks to the enthusiastic participation of our member schools, we are pleased to announce that we have received numerous highly-qualified applications this year. Due to the quantity and competitiveness of this year’s applications, we have decided to offer support to a more diverse range of 7 research topics. The result of the 7 awarded projects, names of the awarded Co-PIs and details of the support can be downloaded at the bottom of this announcement.

We are thrilled that we can take the diversity of Joint Research Scheme to a new level this time. We genuinely wish that all the joint research projects can yield to fruitful and long-lasting results. Project Principal Investigators will be invited to brief the Steering Committee about the progress of the Project in the 2013 Steering Committee Meeting in late October. And a final presentation of the research results will be incorporated with the 2014 Presidents’ Forum to present the work of the joint research teams under the Scheme, and to promote the awareness of and involvement in collaborative opportunities in the region.

Your participation in SATU programs and activities is very much appreciated. We are looking forward to the prospect of current and future collaborations.

Sincerely Yours,
Prof. Cheng-Hung Huang

Executive Secretary, SATU Presidents’ Forum
