Please RSVP by mailing the forms (hard & e-copies) no later than July 23, 2010. You may notify us earlier if you choose, however we must receive a copy of the original signed paperwork for record keeping purposes.
5. When should I apply for the visa to Taiwan?
The SATU International Secretariat will contact the Taiwan Foreign Affairs Offices located within your country after receiving student RSVP in order to confirm your attendance and facilitate visa application procedures. Please prepare the documents and apply at the nearest office after receiving notice from SATU in early August. 6. Do I have to present the paper that I submitted for first round applications?
No. The paper for Round 1 was used solely to evaluate and select you for the final competition.
7. Do I have to pay to attend the competition?
There is no registration fee involved with the competition. SATU Student Business Plan Organizers will cover transportation fees as well as all meals during the duration of your stay with us. However, it is recommended to bring some personal spending money with you for souvenirs and in case of emergency. (1 US dollar equals approximately 32 New Taiwan Dollars.)
8. What can I expect during the final competition?
Finalists will be put into teams randomly shortly after arriving in Taiwan. The teams which have been put together will work together over the course of 2.5 days to create a Business Plan Proposal. On the third and final day of the competition, your team will present your work to a panel of judges who will determine the team(s) with the best presentation.
