General Call Description
The SATU International Secretariat launched the SATU Joint Research Scheme, or SATU JRS, in 2012 to provide a collaborative platform that facilitates academic research cooperation among SATU member universities.
Aim of the Scheme
The SATU JRS coordinators work to connect scholars who share similar research interests, but who may be located in different regions and countries. The aim of this scheme is to help combine and integrate research resources to increase the quality, quantity, and profile of SATU research findings and resulting publications.
The host university shall provide funding or other alternatives to implement a given project. Acceptable topics include those involving the sciences, engineering, the humanities, social sciences, cultural challenges in Southeastern Asia, and multidisciplinary research. Each project consists of a team of researchers, with the host university’s researcher acting as the principal investigator (PI) of the project and the participating scholars of other SATU member universities acting as co‐principal investigators (Co‐PIs).
öNCKU Funding Plan
Investigators must be working at SATU member universities and have a doctoral degree to qualify for these SATU JRS reimbursements. Any doctoral student from member universities with his/her own financial support is also very welcome to participate in the Joint Research Scheme.
All participants must apply online at https://sites.google.com/view/satujrs/home before April 19th, 2019. For any questions: firstname.lastname@example.org
